I had a great opportunity to spend a couple days photographing behind the scenes at the Calgary Stampede… my mandate was solely to create fine art. With so much visual stimulus around me, it was a great challenge to find art in the chaos.

Wow, I’m incredibly impressed. I’ve spent so many hours there with The Calgary Stampede Showband and I don’t think I can say I’ve ever seen that boring, redundant, subject matter in such a beautiful way. Props!!!
How does one get on board to shoot for The Stampede? I’m coming back from Photography school this summer, I want to know how!!! Haha

I can honestly say you are getting better every year. Laura loves these pictures of stampede. The rain made these shots with the reflections and the chuck pictures are postcards!
